2T are learning to edit and improve their own writing using CUPS. After completing a writing task, students use CUPS as a check list to ensure that their writing is accurate and free of errors.
U stands for Understanding - children must check that their writing makes sense and they haven't forgotten words or added words that are not needed.
P stands for Punctuation - children check that they have included all necessary punctuation such as full stops, commas, question marks and exclamation marks.

2T are also learning the place value of 3-digit numbers. Students gain an understanding of the value of each digit in a 3 digit number and can use this knowledge to add and subtract larger numbers more efficiently.
