All students, from kindergarten through to year 6, at our School have had an excellent start to school this year! As a part of the Best Start Assessments, each kindergarten student has had the chance to sit down with their wonderful new teachers (Mrs Salmon and Mrs Campbell) for some individual time to get to know one another. Best Start is a fantastic opportunity, which gives the teacher time to discover the students learning styles before they even begin school.
We would also like to take the opportunity to introduce our new school captains and school leaders for 2012 to our community. These students have demonstrated excellent leadership and citizenship skills and have also proven to be excellent role models for the rest of the school. We are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful group of students at Tweed Heads South Primary School.
