Class 5/6 P has been working very hard this week to earn points in the Class Dojo. Class dojo is a piece of internet software that tracks the great things that go on in the classroom. Students who are on task, helping others, working hard, participating, or persevering in their school work can earn point for themselves, or the class as a whole.
We've had all sorts of rewards for this good behaviour including OzTag time, Choosing classroom activities, and time on Mr. Lloyd's iPad. These rewards are coming fast and furious, as are the points. This morning, a smaller 5/6P class (19 people) earned over 80 points in the first 2 hours of school.
Students are able to log onto their individual account to personalise their avatar, view their achievements and monitor their points. Mr Lloyd, and interested parents, are also able to look at their student's record to see how they're doing day to day.
With only a few weeks of school left, there will be plenty of opportunities for students to earn more points and earn more and more rewards.
