Students in K1/S have been working extremely hard in visual arts completing an artwork inspired by the beauty of the sea. Their artworks depict the strength and power of the sea. Students glued a ship which sails on the rough seas with the safety of a lone lighthouse guiding ships in dangerous waters.
The students used acrylic paints, oil pastels and collage to create their work which have movement and illustrate the power of the sea; some ships look as if they may have gone too close to the rocks.
