KC students have been engaged in lots of guided writing with the teacher. This means they have worked very closely with Mrs Campbell in groups of 3 or less students to learn various skils for writing a sentence. The students have used the whiteboards to practise guided writing.
This week KC students have begun to write independently and have greatly surprised their teacher with the quality of writing work that they have produced.
The following writing samples are based on a story that the students listened to about a class pet named Rex. The students had to write about what they would do with Rex if they had the opportunity to take him home .
