A lesson so sweet you could almost taste it.
This week 1/2C used M&M's to further explore the numeracy concept of data. The students put on their detective hats and were delighted when their impromptu treasure hunt throughout the classroom resulted in finding a very sweet, multi coloured treat.
The students were able to convert their data from a numerical total, to a tallied total, and finally into a graphed visual representation.
At the completion of the lesson students had solidified their foundational knowledge of the topic, and can confidently tally and graph a numerical total.
